Friday 20th March | Comments are off for this post

Our trip this week to Murton Park was a brilliant way to complete our Viking topic. The children had a great time dressing up and learning how the Vikings fought, traded, farmed and lived their lives. Even the adults enjoyed themselves. (Spot Mrs Kroon in the stocks). Below is a small selection of the 330+ photos taken by Miss Saunders and Mrs Wallace! Thank you ladies. (It’s a good job we don’t need a trip to Boots to see the pictures in 2020).

On Friday was the grand finale of the science topic, Where Does All That Food Go. The children discovered how poo is made and recreated it using bread, water and cola.

Special mentions this week go to Yahya, Izzy, Noah and Ayla for having a brilliant week.

Finally, the end of the week has been quite tough for lots of pupils and staff in Year 4. Hopefully, life will be back to normal soon and school life will restart. There will be a second blog post later giving details of the plans for the next few weeks and months of how learning can continue and how class members can keep in touch with their friends.

Mr Beevers, Mrs Kroon, Ms Howells and all of the Year 4 team.
