4K’s Week

Friday 19th January | 2 comments

Hi all,

This week in 4K we had fun hot seating and pretending to be a boy sent to school in a dress. We looked at character description and how we can describe characters using action and speech. We have now begun planning and writing a story about the issue of bullying.

In Maths we have been looking deeply into equivalent fractions. The children have worked hard and shown good understanding. Homework on this has been sent home. If your children go on Mathletics can they please complete the games on equivalent fractions.

In Science, we really enjoyed sorting invertebrates into the six main family groups. The children counted legs, looked for wings and body parts in order to sort the invertebrates into insects, arachnids, worms, molluscs, myriapods and crustaceans.

I hope you enjoy your weekend,

Thanks Mrs Kroon

I would be very interested in reading your bullying story once it’s finished 4K. Maybe can post it on your blog, so everyone can read it.
