Year 4 this week

Hi all,

We have had another excellent hard-working week in Year 4.

We were excited to walk around Farsley and conduct a traffic survey. The children were well behaved and also read a map well to locate different amenities along Town Street.

In maths we have been creating bar charts and line graphs and interpreting data from these. 4C have begun work on coordinates. We have not given any homework this week.

In literacy the children have begun learning how to write in the style of Roald Dahl.

We have an exciting week to look forwards to next week. We have a visit to Horton in Ribblesdale on Tuesday for 4K and Thursday for 4C. The children are looking forwards to Sport’s Day on Wednesday and you should have received a letter with your child’s colour allocation.

We will no longer be giving out paper homework but pleasecontinue practising skills on  Mathletics and TT Rockstars or Spelling Shed.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Kroon and Miss Chambers
